Last week Napo members in the CRCs owned by Working Links were shocked to hear that the organisation intends to make job cuts of over 40%. The CRC's affected are Wales, Bristol, Gloucester, Wiltshire and Somerset, Devon and Cornwall and Dorset.
Napo members everywhere will be totally appalled at the prospect of these intended staffing reductions which raise immediate questions about the workload forecasts on which they have been based, the efficacy of the contractual process and the serious risk that will be posed to public safety.
Napo is in the process of following up our exchanges from last week, and we will of course keep members up to date on developments as we begin yet another fight to protect members jobs and the professionalism of the service.
