Napo will be holding our next virtual meeting of the Napo Black Network (NBN), a peer support group for Black members. The meeting is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 13th December starting at 11am and finishing at 12.30pm.

You will get an update on what is happening nationally on race issues and as always, we shall also include plenty of time for a peer support session during the meeting. To sign up to join the network and to get the link to join the meeting, please contact Shireena Suleman on ssuleman@napo.org.uk

This meeting of the NBN will be exploring the TUC Anti-Racism Manifesto and how we can build an anti-racist trade union movement.  Please click here to read the TUC Manifesto -  This manifesto sets out the intent and provides a mechanism for how we can monitor and assess our progress and review the changes we need to see in Trade unions and across our Labour movement.  It has been shaped by important research including research which centres the voices of Black workers from across the movement. It sets out what trade unions, and the movement as a whole, will do to make sure we secure the economic and social justice of Black communities.

Please come along and share your thoughts on how Napo can live up to the commitments in the Manifesto.
