Napo is affiliated to the GFTU (a federation for smaller specialist trade unions and specialist sections of larger unions). They are holding two exciting Young Members’ Development weekends this year, free for Napo young members (ie up to the age of 40).
The first one coming up very, very, soon now from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st May 2023. It will be held at Quorn Grange in Loughborough, Leicestershire. We have emailed and asked before, that, if you have an interest in this, to let us know. If you are still, we cannot guarantee a place at this stage but we’ll do our best. This weekend’s programme is for you if you currently may already in some way be active in Napo.
There will be another weekend, also at Quorn Grange, with a programme for you if you are new(er) to Napo and this will be held from 3rd to 5th November 2023. More details will follow regarding this after the first event.
Members who have previously been on one of these events have found them educating, inspiring and a great way to share experiences and get to know members from other unions.
