At the forthcoming AGM, there will again be a conference bookstall organised by The Retired Members’ Network. Members are encouraged to bring and donate any used books in a reasonable saleable condition directly to the bookstall which will be kindly manned by volunteers.
Any donations of books will be gratefully received. Thank you so much for your generosity. Proceeds from this sale will support the RMN towards organising next year’s 1-day conference as no central Napo budget is set aside for this, but RMN members really benefit from meeting in person once a year to have interesting debates and workshops and socialise together also.
A further Bookstall in Jeremy Cameron’s memory
Members will know that Jeremy was a great prolific writer and had many books published including one turned into a film, which he always sold each year at AGM. His work ranged from crime novels, as well as on his involvement in the Norfolk Lawn Tennis Association, on cricket as well as many books around his many travels, especially lengthy walking trips’ experiences. And probably even more we have not listed here! The RMN are keen to keep his bookstore going at AGM in his memory as Jeremy was the founder of the Network via motion brought back in 2018. The RMN is in touch with Jeremy’s family and hope to have remainders of his books available at AGM including his last novel ‘A Norfolk Man’ posthumously published this year. The proceeds of this will go to Parkinson's UK.
