The closing date for branch nominations for National Officers and Steering Committee was 12 noon on Thursday 13th July.

1.         Nominations for National Officers 2017-2019

Nominations were sought from branches for one Cafcass Vice-Chair, one Probation Vice-Chair, and one Vice-Chair (Finance) post. The term of office for these postholders will be two years, from AGM 2017-2019.

By the closing date, a nomination had been received for Jay Barlow for the position of Cafcass Vice-Chair. There being no other nominations received, Jay has been elected unopposed for two years with effect from AGM 2017.

For the position of Probation Vice-Chair one nomination had been received from branches by the closing date.  Those nominated are as follows:-

There being no other nominations received, Denise has been elected unopposed for two years with effect from AGM 2017.

2.         Nominations for Steering Committee 2018-2021

Nominations were also sought for two vacancies on Steering Committee. Those elected will serve for three years, the posts taking effect from January 2018. By the closing date two nominations had been received from branches. Those nominated are as follows:-

3.         Ballot for Vice-Chair (Finance)

Electoral Reform Services (ERS) has been appointed as the Independent Scrutineer for the election and will oversee a ballot of all full members.

Ballot papers will be posted second class to all full members from Monday 31st July, and the closing date for return of the ballot papers to ERS will be 12.00 noon on Wednesday 6th September.

Any member who has not received a ballot paper by Friday 11th August should contact ERS directly on 020 8365 8909.
