Napo Neurodiversity Survey

On behalf of the Equal Rights Committee, Napo has launched a survey on Neurodiversity.

We are encouraging the employer to develop a comprehensive neurodiversity strategy for the probation service, which includes increasing employer awareness of neurodiversity, tailored training for all staff, addressing issues related to neurodiversity, and support for neurodiverse individuals on probation.

Napo has been working with the employer to address neurodiversity issues, and in some cases (when all other options have been exhausted) launching ET cases to hold the employer accountable for discrimination.

The development of a Neurodiversity Strategy encompasses promoting the benefits of neurodiversity in addition to the challenges faced by staff.

Please kindly complete our short survey (below) and to give Napo your views on how you feel about discussing neurodiversity and any fears that you may have. The survey will help us to analyse and understand neurodiverse issues, disability cases and discrimination in your region.

The survey results will help to inform discussions with the employer on implementing a principled Neurodiversity strategy, which will provide specific support for those members living with neurodiversity.
