Napo established the NBN as a peer support group that will provide support and guidance on matters of individual or collective concern to black members, particularly  in relation to their experiences of working in the Probation Service and CAFCASS and as members of Napo. At a previous meeting of the NBN, held earlier this year, we agreed to set the dates of the NBN in advance so that members who self identify as Black, Asian or from a Minority Ethnic (BAME) background can put the dates in their diary.

The dates for the meetings in 2021 are as follows:

  • Monday 25 January 2021
  • Tuesday 27th April 2021
  • Tuesday 7th July 2021
  • Monday 4th October 2021
  • Wednesday 8th December 2021

All of these meetings will be held virtually and registration details will be sent out closer to the time of the meeting via an all member email.  In the meantime, if you have not already done so, and are interested in joining the NBN network you can register by emailing me at rsingh@napo.org,uk and I will include you onto the Network to receive relevant infortmation.  For reference please click here to view the NBN Manifesto and I look forward to seeing many more BAME members join the meetings in 2021.
