Formal Notice of Annual General Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the 113th Annual General Meeting of Napo is to be held on Thursday 16th, Friday 17th and Saturday 18th October 2025 at the Winter Gardens, Eastbourne AND online streaming, commencing at 2.00pm on the 16th October 2025.
Live streaming of the AGM will allow members, not able or not wishing to attend in person, to watch, participate and vote in real time.
All members of Napo may attend the Annual General Meeting and online registration will open at the beginning of June. A detailed programme and agenda, together with relevant documents, will be given to all members who register and will be posted on the Napo website as available at https://www.napo.org.uk/agm
Motions to be considered by the AGM may be submitted by the National Executive Committee (NEC), any of its Committees and Networks, a Probation Branch/the Family Court Section, the Forum or any two Full or Professional Associate Members of Napo. As it is a ‘Constitutional year’ (which is every 3 years as per the Constitution, Section 30), Constitutional Amendments this year may also be submitted, not only by the NEC, but also a Probation Branch/the Family Court Section.
Motions and Constitutional Amendments should be submitted on the form provided which will be available when registrations open in June at https://www.napo.org.uk/agm. Motions and Constitutional Amendments must reach the General Secretary no later than 12 noon on Wednesday 13th August 2025.
Details of Motions and Constitutional Amendments received will be circulated to members at the beginning of September.
Amendments to Motions and amendments to Constitutional Amendments must reach the General Secretary by Wednesday 1st October.
The Annual General Meeting is Napo’s supreme policy-making body and all members are urged to attend.
